Pontiac, Mich. – The attorneys at Bashore Green in Pontiac have decided to give back to the local community with a combination of monetary donations, school supplies, and necessities like hand sanitizer to help students and staff at Pontiac Academy for Excellence, a K-12 public charter school, more effectively manage it needs for supplies and health safety during these difficult times.
Bashore Green is a longtime admirer and now a contributor to the great work being done at Pontiac Academy to eliminate the challenges facing students receiving a quality education. As Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
One example of the school’s commitment to taking meaningful steps for change is their Meal Distribution program that provides free food for the families of students attending Pontiac Academy.
“We are proud members of the Pontiac community, and we are fortunate that we are able to support our community while also, honoring the memory of Dr. King,” said Bashore Green Managing Partner Kevin Green.
The Pontiac Academy School of Excellence is overseeing its Meal Distribution program every Thursday for the entire month of January. Bashore Green is committed to establishing a longstanding relationship with the school and help to further their initiatives with ongoing support.
